LAHORE: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged motivational walk, debate and poster competitions with the theme of ‘Battling Terrorism with Knowledge’ on Thursday as part of Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) 15 year celebrations.
Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Nasim Ahmad led the walk while UVAS Senior Tutor Dr Kamran Ashraf, Dr Asim Aslam and a large number of students and faculty members participated. The walk started from the vice chancellor’s office and took a round of the city campus UVAS Lahore.
The aim of the walk was to highlight supportive role and contribution of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in national development.
