CTO stresses drivers to follow traffic regulations

LAHORE: While addressing a seminar titled “Trained Drivers, Safe Roads”, Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Ijaz Ahmad said that measures are being taken for the facilitation of citizens.

The CTO said that the key to be a good driver is following traffic rules and good drivers always respect traffic rules and regulations. Following the rules of lane line, stop line and traffic signal are most important. He further added that situation of traffic discipline represents the civilization of any nation. “Trained Drivers, Safe Roads” programme is being arranged to protect the citizens.

He said that City Traffic Police is working on another driving school for the citizens and 4 driving schools with the collaboration of TEVTA have already been in line. These driving schools will be functional soon. CTO further added that we should respect others while on the road and avoid over-speeding.
