LAHORE: A couple married for four months was found dead in their house under mysterious circumstances in Raiwind city on Tuesday.
According to the parents of the 23-year-old Basharat, parents of the 21-year-old wife, Amna allegedly poisoned their food, which caused their death.
The two got married four months back according to their parents’ consent, according to reports.
In August, a teenage couple was killed with electric shocks in Karachi, in the ‘name of honour’. However, the murderers were put to death by family members as ordered by a jirga of elders of the Mohmand tribe.
