LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a notification to CCPO Lahore to investigate the illegal allotment of LDA plots by Nawaz Sharif. NAB has said that police is bound to recover the plots by Sept 29.
According to details, 25 plots had been allotted by Nawaz Sharif as Punjab chief minister to favoured bureaucrats and high-officials. Earlier, regarding the issue, NAB had opened the case in 1999 but due to political issues was unable to complete it.
