Judge expresses concern over dilapidated condition of government school

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: The third civil judge Ghulam Madni Memon visited Government Primary School Haji Ali Nawaz Burdi in Tharo Shah and expressed concerns over the absence of basic facilities in the school.

According to a handout issued by the district information office on Saturday, the judge visited the school in compliance with the directive of Naushahro Feroze Session Judge Syed Ghulam Shah, who took notice of a media report regarding dilapidated conditions of the school.

According to reports, the school was established in 1988 and was being run in an irrigation building. There were no basic facilities in school, the judge observed and directed to forward recommendations for the school building to the concerned authority.

On the occasion, the session judge was apprised by school teachers that there were nearly 185 students studying in school while only 6 teachers were appointed.

On the occasion, Naushaharo Feroze Taluka Education officer Khalid Pervez Jat told the civil judge that School Management Committee (SMC) SEMIS code funds were issued whereas the school was included in shelter-less schools and a letter had been written to the education works department for construction of the school building.
