Gazain Marri in Levies’ remand

QUETTA: A local court on Saturday remanded Nawabzada Gazain Marri in Levies Custody for five days in a case registered against him at a Levies police station in Kohlu.

Marri was produced before the court amid strict security measures. Levies will interrogate from Gaizan in Quetta.

Gaizan Marri, son of late Baloch politician Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, ended his self-imposed exile and returned to Pakistan after 18 years spent mostly in Dubai.

A large number of Marri tribesmen and elders tried to reach the airport to receive Gaizan Marri; however, police stopped them at the main airport chowk.

Justice Nawaz Marri, the senior judge of Balochistan High Court, was killed in an attack on January 7, 2000, in the Zarghoon road area of Quetta. Gaizan Marri, Hyrbayar Marri and others were nominated in the murder case of Justice Nawaz Marri.
