CHARSADDA: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan is no longer considered a dangerous country because of the improved law and order situation and reduced terrorism-related incidents.
While addressing a Frontier Constabulary passing-out parade in Shabqadar on Wednesday, he said, “No one can dare term Pakistan a dangerous country now.”
Praising security forces for their sacrifices for the country, the interior minister said that peace and political stability wouldn’t be possible without these sacrifices.
Development projects will be completed within the stipulated time because of the improved conditions, he added.
Earlier, on Sunday, Iqbal while speaking to media lauded the government for making country peaceful and added that Pakistan made exceptional gains during the past four years.
While discussing the gains the country made during the past years, the interior minister said that the backbone of terrorism has been broken, except one or two incidents that happen from across the border.
