RAWALPINDI: A woman was killed and husband injured in firing by armed men here on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place in Rawalpindi Peoples Colony where armed men barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire at the couple present in the house. The woman was killed on the spot while her husband sustained bullet wounds.
The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime. The dead body and the injured were moved to a hospital for medico-legal formalities while the police after registering a case into the incident started the investigation.
