Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that in the NA-120 by-elections Imran Khan introduced Supreme Court (SC) as a political party, adding that despite so many troubles his party won the by-poll.
According to details, while talking to media the law minister criticised his opponents and said that “Ilzam Khan” and “Mullah Sheikh Rasheed” should accept their defeat now.
He also said that the Panama case was not a divine scripture which could not be discussed and they should not be asked to believe in it. “Even after some reservations, we acted upon the [Panama] verdict because it was a legal and constitutional necessity,” he added.
He also informed that when they requested to increase the polling time, they were asked to take Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in confidence as well, and added that the PTI refused because they knew that the “PML-N voters were standing in queues to cast their votes”.
Sanaullah also said that people should question about Irfan Mangi’s character and added that relation of another Joint Investigation Team (JIT) member with General Musharraf was not a secret.
