ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) would set-up a Tourist Information Centre (TIC) at the new under-construction Islamabad Airport very soon.
Talking to APP an official of PTDC said that efforts were underway to set up new TIC at the airport within three months. In the information centre, proper duty schedule would be observed to assist the foreign and domestic tourists with correct and updated information.
The visiting tourists would also be provided with the hotel facility and transport booking upon arrival at the airport, he added.
He said that the PTDC was in the process of development of a centralised booking and reservations system for all corporations’ facilities spread throughout the country, adding that the tourist information centres were the face of the country’s tourism industry, which required being uplifted.
