Marvi Memon assures early justice in Taniya Khaskheli murder case

HYDERABAD: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon has assured the heirs of the slain girl, Taniya Khaskheli, that early justice would be provided to them and the federal government would ensure that no such incident occurs in future.

Memon expressed these remarks while talking to heirs of deceased Taniya Khaskheli at Village Jhangara of Jamshoro district on Tuesday.

Taniya Khaskheli, a student was shot dead by accused Khan Muhammad Nohani and his accomplices some ten days back when she refused to marry him.

Marvi, accompanied by MPA Soorath Thebo, offered condolences to the family of victim Taniya Khaskheli, also on behalf of the federal government, PML (N), and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

She maintained that capital punishment would be ensured for the murderers of deceased Taniya Khaskheli through speedy trial.

The entire nation is under shock as a result of the murder of Taniya who was not the daughter of a family or Sindh but the daughter of the country, she added.

Meanwhile talking to media persons after offering Fateha, Marvi Memon has called upon the Sindh government to play its due role in providing early justice to the family of deceased Taniya Khaskheli.

She said that PML (N) has deep roots in all the four provinces of the country and the federal government was striving to provide maximum facilities to the people of the country without any discrimination.
