LAHORE: A polling agent of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) serving at a polling station during NA-120 by-election died of stroke here on Sunday.
According to details, PML-N worker Abid Majeed, aged 52, serving as polling agent for the party at Pak-Turk School Afghan Park polling station, suffered heart attack which proved fatal.
The body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.
Later, the PML-N leader and Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir, accompanied by Mian Usman and other party workers, visited the residence of the deceased and condoled with the bereaved family.
