CM appreciates officials for making ‘Independence Cup’ a success

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated the performance of the officers and officials of concerned departments for arranging best security and other related arrangements for the ‘Independence Cup’, making it a success.

While appreciating the performance of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order as well as administration, CM said that they have won the hearts of public by ensuring excellent preparations for the match for which all the respective departments deserved huge appreciation.

He said that along with political, administrative and police officers, the performance of the officials and staff of other concerned departments’ was additionally commendable as an effective holding of the match was the triumph of Pakistan. Besides, he added, Punjab government with its collaboration and commitment had orchestrated the best event and Allah Almighty had favoured them fruitfully because of their diligent work round the clock.

He said that administrative officers, alongside law enforcing agencies of civil and military organisations, had set a new example of hard work and all relevant departments had performed duties with the best harmony.

“It is an ideal demonstration of unity and harmony which was a defeat for peace-haters and a victory for public as these results were made possible through constant hard-work,” said the CM, adding that his happiness had been multiplied by seeing the joyous people and vowed that “we all will work together to give such a lot of happiness to the nation”.

He said that he was grateful for these wonderful arrangements at every step and for the provision of best facilities to cricket fans. “I believe that if we will continue working with the same passion, one day Pakistan will become a great country,” he concluded.
