ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice has approved the Election Bill 2017 and sent it to the Upper House for approval.
Chaired by Senator Javed Abbasi, the committee reviewed Election Bill 2017 clause by clause and the members recommended different amendments.
After approval of the Election bill by the Senate, it will be re-sent to the National Assembly and will formally become law, after the bill is approved by the assembly.
