Saudi Arabia lauds role of Pakistan Navy in regional stability

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister for Defence Mohammad Abdullah Alayeesh visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad on Saturday.

Upon arrival at the Naval Headquarters, the visiting dignitary was received by Naval Staff Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah.

A contingent of Pakistan Navy (PN) presented him the Guard of Honour.

Later, during his meeting with the naval chief, matters of mutual interest came under discussion. The naval chief highlighted Pakistan’s performance in the fight against terrorism, including participation of the Navy in Coalition Maritime Campaign Plan and Counter Piracy Operations.

The Saudi minister lauded Pakistan Navy’s role and focused commitment in support of maritime security for peace and stability in the region.
