None of public wealth plunderers will be spared: Siraj

ABBOTABAD: Pakistan Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said that none of the plunderers of public wealth would be spared and those living in palaces would be behind the bars soon.

Addressing a big public meeting here on Saturday, he said that the ‘Himalaya of arrogance and pride’ had been humbled and the other idols of corruption would also fall soon.

Sirajul Haq said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was a tale of failures and the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was no different.  He added that the political parties were not prepared to tolerate the burden of hereditary leadership.

The JI chief said that the insipid rulers who had handed over Dr Aafia Siddiqui, Aimal Kansi and Yousef Ramzi, could not be the leaders of the brave Pakistani nation, and added that the nation needed leadership like Muhammad bin Qasim, Mahmud Ghaznavi and Salahuddin Ayubi.

He said that it was unfortunate that instead of visiting Burma and Bangladesh to express his solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims, the prime minister was going to the US to record his presence before the American masters.

The senator said that the PML-N had failed to provide any relief to the masses and was now taking refuge behind Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification. He added that had Nawaz Sharif served the masses, his daughter would not have to knock at every door for votes in the by-elections.

He said that Nawaz was, again and again, questioning why he had been ousted, even though every child in the country knew that, adding that it was the common knowledge that Nawaz Sharif had been ousted because of his arrogance, for the execution of Mumtaz Qadri Shaeed and for handing over Dr Aafia Siddiqui to the enemy.

Sirajul Haq said that the greatest asset of the JI workers was the good moral character and they were proud of being the slaves of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and not of the international establishment.  He added that the JI would continue its struggle for a ‘Corruption Free Pakistan’.

The meeting was also addressed by JI Provincial Chief Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and District Chief Abdul Razzaq Abbasi.
