BADIN: Joining PML-N was a bitter experience as the tenure of Nawaz Sharif regime proved adverse for the country. These views were expressed by former Sindh Minister Syed Ali Bux alias Papu Shah at his residency on Saturday while addressing a large number of workers of Pakistan People Party (PPP).

Shah maintained that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had enfeebled the strength of Pakistan, adding that a number of foreigners paid visits to the country without any visas during his regime which, according to the former minister, was a conspiracy of breaching the secrets of the nation.

Addressing the gathering, he vowed to unite all senior workers of the party, who were annoyed before he joined the PPP, on a single platform. He added that he joined PPP for the service of the common people of Badin, and hoped for better changes in future.

Shah also said that earlier many innocent people of Badin were dragged in false and fabricated cases, which disappointed the common people of the city, adding that this reason was responsible for the defeat in local body elections in the city.

He further said that he will support all workers of the party, who were loyal and sincere, with due respect.

On the occasion, Akhtar Khoso, Ghulam Qadir Khoso, Ismail Rahimoon, Amanullah Korai, Allah Bux and others were also present.
