United Nations says the number of people affected by hunger and famine in the world is on the rise again after intensifying conflicts and climate change.
In a fresh global assessment about food security and nutrition, the UN warned that the increase is cause for great concern.
The world body further said that some 815 million people were hungry last year, an increase of 38 million than 2015.
The report said people could face possible famine in parts of South Sudan, northeast Nigeria, Somalia, and Yemen.
