In celebration of the tenth year anniversary of Coke Studio, Coca-Cola in collaboration with Metro Cash and Carry has set a new Guinness World Record.
Coke Studio, currently more than halfway through its tenth season, has over the years become Pakistan’s premiere music production source and its release is the biggest incident on the country’s entertainment calendar.
To celebrate its success and see the name of Coca Cola and Pakistan rise high, Coca Cola Pakistan planned and then set the record for the world’s “Largest packaged product display.”
In what is being described as “a true example of system innovation driven by passion” the Coca Cola Pakistan team created a display of 100,000 packaged cases of Coca Cola. The display of Coca Cola bottles overall consisted of a staggering 1 million litres of the cola drink.
According to further details, the 100,000 cases and 1 million litres of coca cola strong display is enough to partially fill an olympic size swimming pool. Coca Cola has thus not only managed to set the Guinness world record for largest packaged product’s display, it has set the bar very high, making it near impossible to break the record.
Overall, the display measures a huge 205 feet in length, 81 feet in width and a total constant elevation from the ground of 3 feet. This amounts to an absolute volume of nearly 50,000 cubic feet, and a surface area of almost 35,000 square feet.
The move was met with great appreciation from people on social media, who greatly commended the effort and appreciated the fact that Pakistan’s name would once again be in the record books. Because of this, Coca Cola Pakistan met with praise from all corners.
They went on to thank their bottling partner, CCI, in their collaborative effort.
