Rangers nab six accused including Lyari gang war member in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested six alleged criminals, including a Lyari gang war member, in different targeted raids in the metropolis.

A statement issued by Rangers spokesman said that the Rangers conducted a targeted raid in Lyari area and detained a gang war criminal, Tabish alias Chand. He was allegedly involved in target killings and other crimes.

Meanwhile, a Rangers team carried out a raid in Liaquatabad area and arrested a banned outfit member Jafar Hussain alias Nai;  he was allegedly involved in dealing illegal weapons and extortions.

A Rangers party conducted a search operation in Sharfi Goth and Zaman town and arrested four criminals, Muhammad Haroon, Abdul Razaq, Naizdin and Rahmat Khan. They were involved in target killings, robberies, kidnapping for ransom and several crimes, the Rangers said.

The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs and contraband from their possession.  The accused were shifted to undisclosed locations for further interrogation.
