LAHORE: The stay of World XI in Lahore has slowed the workings inside district jails, as the present security situation has prevented prisoners from seeing their relatives and from being presented in the court.

Due to the land order, the arrested criminals have not been presented in courts. In cases of murder and other criminal acts, the date for hearing has been postponed. Due to non-presence of criminals in the court, the witnesses have also had to return back. Overall, over 20,000 cases have postponed in the courts of Lahore in 3 days.
