CM’s aide denounces oppression against Rohingya Muslims

KARACHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Technology Dr Sikandar Shoro, condemning the oppression of the Rohingya Muslim brothers in Myanmar, has appealed to the international community to take immediate measures to prevent this cruelty and evil.

This he said in a statement issued here on Wednesday. He also appealed to the United Nations (UN) and OIC to protect Rohingya Muslims living in Burma and take appropriate measures in this regard.

 

“We can establish harmony in the world only by encouraging peace, unity and brotherhood and by spreading the teachings of love,” he said. He added that killing of the peaceful citizens is terrorism, it is necessary that we all raise a loud voice against this oppression.
