Punjab Group of Colleges bags 24 out of top 30 positions
LAHORE: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Tuesday announced the result of Intermediate Part II Annual Examination 2017, which showed a pass percentage of 62.48.
The result was announced during the award ceremony for the position-holders at a local hotel. Higher Education Minister Raza Ali Gilani was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away medals and certificates among the distinction-holders.
Punjab Group of Colleges has bagged 24 tops positions out of 30 in the Lahore Boad Intermediate Result 2017. The overall 3 positions have also been bagged by students of Punjab College. Specifically, it has bagged first and third position in pre-medical group (boys), top three positions in pre-engineering (boys), first position in premedical group (girls), top three positions in pre-engineering group (girls), 2nd and 3rd position in generals sciences group (girls), 1st and 3rd position in general sciences group (boys), top three positions in commerce group (girls), top three positions in commerce group (boys) and 3rd position in humanities group (girls).
According to the result statistics, a total number of 158,500 candidates applied for the examination; 155,122 candidates appeared in the examination and a total number of 96,927 candidates passed the examination.
Boys clinched all 3 overall top positions and private colleges won 31 out of total of 33 positions in the Intermediate (Annual) Examination 2017 of BISE Lahore.
