Mass killings to be stopped, says GB CM

Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has expressed deep sorrow over the massacre of Muslims in Myanmar and demanded concrete steps to stop the killing of innocent people.

In a statement issued here Sunday, the CM urged upon the United Nation and UNHCR to come up with a solid steps to stop the mass killing of innocent people including children and women.

He demanded that the United Nations should play its role in stopping genocide in Myanmar. He said the world community including the Islamic countries should voice against such genocide in Myanmar. He said killing innocent people is a barbaric act that should be stopped.
