Lahore army museum opens for public

LAHORE: Lahore army museum has now been opened for the general public to visit. A statement by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said that the museum was inaugurated by the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa a few days ago.

The museum depicts the history and heritage of Pakistan through various sections titled Rebirth of a Nation, Quaid and Armed Forces, Shuhada Corner, Nishan-e-Haider Gallery, Life at Highest Battlefield Siachen, Kashmir Corner, Pakistan’s contributions in United Nations, Nation Building Efforts and White of the Flag.

The inauguration and accompanied tour were attended by former Joint Chiefs of Staff committee chairmen Generals (retired) Khalid Shamim Wynne and Tariq Majid as well as ISPR DG Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor.
