Civil, military leadership united on national issues: Mushahid

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor and senior leader of PML-Q Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, on Friday said that the civil and military leadership were united on all national issues of the country.

Talking to a private news channel, he appreciated the speech of the Army Chief Bajwa on September 6.

He said media and judiciary were independently working in Pakistan.

He said the Parliament was also taking stands on all important issues in the larger interest of the country.

Commenting on India’s aggressive policy, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was promoting religious extremism in the South Asian region.

He said India was supporting the aggressive policies of Myanmar.

Mushahid Hussain Syed said India was also violating the Indus Waters Treaty and building dams in order to stop Pakistan’s water.

He said Pakistan should expose the real face of India before the world.

To a question, he said America was trying to hide its failure in Afghanistan. He said President of United States Donald Trump did not mention in his speech about Pakistan’s sacrifices that were being given in war against terrorism.
