Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has appealed to the protesters holding rallies in Islamabad today against the atrocious treatment of Myanmar`s Rohingya Muslims to remain peaceful.
In a statement, he said expressing solidarity with Rohingya Muslims is our national obligation but any violent activity in such solidarity rallies will be of no use to them but instead will create more problems.
Ahsan Iqbal said any uproar in Red Zone area and the Diplomatic Enclave distorts Pakistan’s image at international level so dignity of the area must be upheld.
