KARACHI: Two bandits were killed and two others injured in different police encounters in the city on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, Sachal Goth police had an encounter with bandits in Safooran Goth in which two bandits, aged 25, and 30, were killed. The identity of the killed bandits could not be ascertained till filing this report. Their bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsies.
Separately, two alleged bandits Arif, 22, and Junaidullah, 23, were injured in a police encounter near Hafta Bazaar in Gulistan-e-Johar’s Block 11. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
