Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Zahid Nasrullah Khan has said more than 40 per cent area of Afghanistan was not in control of the Afghan government.
Talking to the state news channel, he said Taliban and terrorist organisations were attacking from there.
He said a regional consensus was essential which should be discussed in the meeting of Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) for establishing a durable strategy in this regard.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador in China Masood Khalid said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had started giving fruitful results.
He said American President Donald Trump had announced his policy for the South Asian region, adding China was well aware of Pakistan’s concerns and reservations about Trump’s new policy.
