PESHAWAR: Police have not been to arrest an elderly person who killed a female university student for rejecting his marriage proposal one week earlier.
Police said that the person stated to be father and grandfather of several children sent a marriage proposal to 24-year-old Aliya, hailing from Tehkal area of Peshawar.
However, the girl and her family rejected the proposal which irritated the perpetrator.
Follwing which the culprit barged into the house and killed the girl.
The police have registered a case against the murder but were unable to arrest him despite the passage of one week.
