LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday night held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to discuss the political situation in the country as well as party matters.
The former interior minister had reached Lahore from Rawalpindi on Monday for the meeting with the Punjab chief minister ahead of his departure for London.
Sources said that the meeting continued for three and a half hours and important national issues and developments, as well as organisational matters of PML-N, came under discussion.
When contacted by INP, Nisar briefly informed that they discussed different matters in detail. He said further details would be provided later.
Nisar later returned to Islamabad.
