Weather turns pleasant in Lahore after rain

LAHORE: Parts of the Punjab province received showers on Monday, which turned the weather pleasant.

Heavy rain occurred at scattered places in Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions. According to media reports, Gujranwala and Sialkot faced flash flooding after rain.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning:

Islamabad 23 degree centigrade, Lahore 26,  Karachi 28, Peshawar 25, Quetta 20, Gilgit 19, Murree 15 and Muzaffarabad 22 degree centigrade.

More rain is expected in Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and areas of Kashmir today, according to Pakistan Metrological Department.

According to PMD, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to continue during next few days.
