According to police, on Monday, in a gunfire near Defence Morr area, a man was killed and another injured as a fight broke out between drunk friends.
Police Cantt Superintendent Rana Tahir said that the three men, Azeem, Shaikh and Abbas were in a car when fight broke out after which, Shaikh opened fire, killing Azeem and injuring Abbas.
The dead and the injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Lahore. The accused, who is the son of a retired colonel, fled the scene after the incident.
No complaint against the accused has been filed so far by the families of the victims.
