NACTA (National Counter Terrorism Authority) spokesman has said that, upon the advice of Interior Ministry, paramilitary forces will remain high alert in the country for Eidul Azha.
“Air wing of Interior Ministry has been put on high alert from early this morning,” he mentioned.
According to media reports, NACTA added that PDMAs (Provincial Disaster Management Authorities) of the four provincial governments have been advised – through a letter – to take intelligence reports seriously and make arrangements to hold Eid prayers within boundary walls.
NACTA also said that collection of hides of sacrificial animals without NOC (Non Objection Certificate) is a punishable offence and stern action should be taken against the violators.
