Muslims in Saudi Arabia, UAE, US celebrate Eid-ul-Azha today

Muslims in Saudi Arabia, UAE, US and many other countries in the world are celebrating Eid al Azha on Friday.

In Saudi Arabia major Eid congregations were held in the holy mosques Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabvi.

A large number of Muslims attended the Eid prayers, where special prayers were offered for the unity among the Muslim Ummah and peace in the world.

Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with great religious fervour and enthusiasm falling on Saturday, 2nd of September to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).

In the federal capital, the main Eid congregation will be held at Faisal Mosque.

After offering Eid prayers, the faithful will slaughter their sacrificial animals.

Federal and provincial governments have chalked out elaborate security arrangements across the country to ward off untoward incidents.
