Maryam visits St. Anthony’s Church in NA-120

During her campaign which she is conducting on behalf of her ailing mother Kalsoom Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz visited the St. Anthony’s Church in NA-120 to procure the minority vote in the constituency.

On the occasion, she met with Bishop Sebastian Shaw, with a special prayer being held for the recovery of Kalsoom Nawaz who is suffering from throat cancer and is currently seeking treatment in London.

While addressing the audience at the church, Maryam Nawaz said that she was grateful to the country for praying for her ailing mother.

“I was educated at the Convent of Jesus and Mary for eleven years”, she said, adding that the school had played a huge part in her life.

She said that Pakistan does not need a change of prime minister but a change of system. She said that Nawaz Sharif was simply disqualified for not obtaining salary from his son.

“Nawaz Sharif is not his fighting, but of the people”, she said.
