People, especially women, are rushing to markets to buy clothes and other items to celebrate the festive event.
Markets and shopping malls are crowded with children and women anxious to buy their Eid dresses, bangles, shoes, makeup materials and other items.
Markets like Anarkali Bazaar, Liberty Market and Ichhra Bazaar have become a hub of shopping spree nowadays.
The faithful also seem all out to buy the sacrificial animals including cows, goats and sheep and a heavy rush is being witnessed at the temporary markets, especially established for the purpose.
