In the divorce battle that has been going on between Boxer Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom, the former could lose half of his estimated £25million fortune.
This started with the couple’s very public row, that has only been getting uglier with each passing day.
Faryal could be getting at least half of the complete wealth of Amir Khan.
“The starting point will be a 50:50 division of all assets,” solicitor Harold Walker told the Daily Star.
“His lawyers might argue that his cash is tied up in family businesses and investments but that will make no difference apart from to draw the process out.
“He will be told to break-up any firms and sell any investments to make sure he can pay the money into court.”
Amir could also potentially lose custody of his child and the baby that is yet to be born. It was announced by Faryal that she was going to have another baby in February.
“Faryal’s announcement came as a shock to everyone involved but she doesn’t want anything more from Amir now,” her friends said.
