Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif arrived London on the wee hours of Wednesday.
However, his arrival was mired by an unpleasant situation when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers, who were gathered outside his residence to welcome him, had a scuffle with each other. Moreover, the workers also misbehaved with the members of the media.
According to media reports, British police arrived outside his residence to control the situation.
Due to the unruly behaviour of his workers, he was unable to talk to the media.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Senator Dr Asif Karmani among others saw him off at the airport.
He will see his ailing wife Begum Kalsoom Nawaz and spend Eidul Azha with his family there.
