KARACHI: The University of Karachi would emerge as one of the top institutions of higher education internationally. This was stated by the Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University (KU) Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, an official said on Thursday.
Ajmal Khan lauded the hard work put in by the faculty of the University of Karachi and that if they continued to perform with the same spirit and commitment, this institution would emerge as one of the top universities internationally.
He also appreciated the gesture of unity among teachers in the academic council, during the nomination of representatives of Academic Council in various boards of faculties and boards of governors without any election, since all of them got nominated unopposed.
“KU faculty members have a pivotal role in varsity’s uplift. I am quite hopeful that if this trend continued, KU will soon be in the list of world’s top varsities”, added Dr Khan.
