Former military dictator General (retired) Pervez Musharraf was declared an absconder in the case and the ATC ordered the seizure of his property.
Five accused in the case were acquitted while two former policemen Saud Aziz, who was the police chief in Rawalpindi at the time of Bhutto’s assassination, and former Rawal Town SP Khurram Shahzad, were sentenced to 17 years each and ordered to pay a fine of Rs0.5 million each.

What crimes did Musharraf commit except for explicitly warning BB not to return due to security risks?
You should ask your Daddy who murdered their Uncle Murtaza and their Mother Benazir. He knows so do the people of Pakistan. Who had one half of your Pappy’s moustache shaved off ? Who told your father to stop corrupt practices as a Minister? But I mean no harm to you three. Don’t do this. Allah’s Revenge will not let anyone escape. You saw what happened to Nawaz!
