TAXILA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid and arrested two terrorists of a banned outfit here on Tuesday.
The CTD sources said that on an intelligence tip-off, operation was conducted at Thatta Khalil Road in Taxila.
During the operation, two terrorists of a banned outfit identified as Junaid Muhavia and Sohailur Rehman were apprehended with explosives and detonators.
The nabbed terrorists had planned a terrorist attack in Taxila but a timely action foiled the attempt.
The detained terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
