Three people died while one person was injured in a collision between a mini-truck and a car in Sheikhupura on Tuesday.
Rescue sources said that the accident took place near Hiran Minar. Three people died on the spot while another was seriously injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
The police impounded both vehicles and have registered a case.
Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of the three persons.
In a condolence message, the chief minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude. He has also directed the administration to provide the best healthcare facilities to the injured.
