PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtukhwa (KP) Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi on Monday condemned US President Donald Trump’s Pak-Afghan policy and said that the policy ‘ridiculed’ the sacrifices rendered by the people and security forces of Pakistan.
Addressing a rally against US president’s new policy here, he observed that due to wrong policies of the president, peace across the globe was at stake adding that Trump should revisit his policies for South Asia to save the entire region from war.
He pointed out that the US wanted to hide its failure and losses in Afghanistan, and added that the US should accept sacrifices rendered by civilians, security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan in the war against terrorism and end its policy of asking Pakistan to ‘do more’.
The KP minister made it clear that the nation stood united and would foil any nefarious designs of anti-state elements. He said that Pakistan was a peaceful country and wanted to eliminate terrorism from its soul.
