CAHE president hails NUML’s role for promoting Chinese language, culture

Chinese Association of Higher Education (CAHE) President Du Yubo said that National University of Modern Languages (NUML) is playing extraordinary role in promoting Chinese language and culture in Pakistan.

He said that more Chinese students would be sent to NUML to enhance the students’ exchange programme and start joint research initiatives.

He was exchanging views with the NUML Rector Maj-Gen (retd) Zia-ud-Din Najam during his visit to NUML on Tuesday. NUML Director General Muhammad Ibrahim, Registrar Aminullah Khan, Director Administration Zia-ul-Hassan Sahi and others were also present on the occasion.

Du Yubo said that NUML was also playing vital role in Human Resource development and stressed that both the countries would make all-out efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.

Earlier, Rector Zia Najam briefed the guests about the university and told them that NUML has various memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with Chinese institutes. He hoped that both the counties would further enhance the mutual cooperation in education sector.
