Aamir Liaquat launches clothing line ‘AamirLiaquatAikPehchan’

Televangelist turned political analyst turned meme fodder, Aamir Liaquat Husain has now ventured into realm of textile and retail clothing. Under the name ‘AamirLiaquatAikPehchan’, the controversial figure showcased the brand’s first retail shop on his official twitter handle.

The shop is situated in Dubai and the POV video ,possibly, shot from Aamir Liaquat’s smartphone guides us on a journey in which we encounter plentiful pictures of the man wearing vivid eastern clothing.

 

The door to the shop itself depicts Aamir Liaquat in three distinct poses. The picture chosen to cover the door echoes the idea that perhaps his clothing line is not for the simple minded and is instead the thinking man’s clothing.

 

ALH, also shared a minute and half long video of the inauguration of the shop in which the good doctor seems to be in his element. Ribbons are cut, Sheikhs are hugged and the video proceeds to shots of the people involved realising that they are being filmed and the doctor marvelling at pictures of himself littered throughout the shop.

 

The receipt of the first purchase made at the brand was also shared. A ‘Mehdi Qazi’ purchased a Shalwar Kameez for, what would be equal to, around 4000 Pakistani Rupees; a fair price given Aamir Liaquat’s name is hemmed at the back of the clothing

 

What can be deduced from this new revelation in the phenomenon that is Aamir Liaquat Husain. Perhaps the impetus for this venture stems from the iconic shirts he wore on his show at Bol during the Panama verdict days.

It difficult to say where this new venture will take the good doctor and how fans and distant spectators will view what is to come. Only time will tell.
