Due to a landmine blast in Barmal area of South Waziristan on Sunday, 2 soldiers have been martyred and 3 injured.
According to security officials, a forces jeep was conducting a search operation when it contacted a landmine which had been planted roadside.
The 2 martyred soldiers are Sepoy Attaur Rehman and Sepoy Imran Ali. The injured have been moved to Field Hospital in Wana. Following the blast, a search operation has been initiated as well.
