Three robbers were shot and injured by police in Korangi area of the city in wee hours on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, a gang of three robbers, Farhan, aged 24, Zuhaib, 35, Sajjid, 26, were looting people at gunpoint in Korangi industrial area, when police reached the scene. The robbers opened fire on police team which was retaliated by the police.
During exchange of fire for some time, the robbers sustained bullet injuries. The police also recovered a 2 pistols, bullets, cash and motorbike from their possession. The injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.
