Sukkur Institute of Business Administration University Vice Chancellor Professor Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui has said holding degrees in your hands is just not enough, rather it should be affiliated with some sort of skill, which makes you market-worthy.
He was addressing the participants of awareness seminar on 3D animation and visual effects, held at the auditorium, in collaboration with Microvision School of Animation on Saturday. He said ‘No doubt degrees were essential, but if we think that, degrees alone could prove beneficial for us, we are mistaken adding that degree along with skill paves way for better jobs in the market’.
University Registrar Engineer Zahid Hussain Khan in his address said the diploma in 3D animation was a skill, which could provide jobs in the market. With the changing trends of the market, this particular diploma has the potential to win over jobs in the market, he added.
Sameer Jalali from School of Animation, Microvision, briefed the students about various aspects of the visual effects and animation, while Faiz Ahmed Siddiqui presented his work, which he is doing for some of his clients in Sukkur.
