KARACHI: Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) and Karachi University (KU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaborative working in future and developing bilateral cooperation and linkages in academic areas, and research and development in all scientific and technical fields.
ORIC Director Professor Dr Majid Mumtaz said that the MoU would help in designing and implementing joint research projects which would leverage the expertise in research projects in future. The director signed the memorandum on behalf of KU while PCSIR Director General Dr Khaula Shirin signed it representing PCSIR. This MoU will remain valid for three years.
“Both organisations are rich in professional resources and experts, and their collaborative working has a great potential for touching new heights in the area of the knowledge-based economy,” and added that the exchange of knowledge will be exercised through conferences, workshops and professional seminars.
